Left a ringing phone next to my coworker and ran off. Best coworker.
Reblog if you love what you’re studying or doing for work.
Currently at work on Tumblr. It’s pretty great.
What? A sports reference?
Everyone once in a while this plays throws me a curveball that I wasn’t expecting. I was definitely not expecting overly polite students.
My cousin is here reading a book about greek mythology out of sheer interest. On the way out as he was returning it he tried to display his newfound knowledge by telling me a factoid. I already knew it though so I finished it off for him. Now he’s sad.
It is somewhat sad how happy I am now that I’ve taken my shoes off.
Just what I needed
So after a pretty shitty day I just had the best phone conversation with Dad as he heard about my and Mum’s issues.
Was really assuring because he went over what he assumed were Mum’s concerns and was then like ‘but you shouldn’t have to change for her’, which was exactly how I felt about the matter and is therefore exactly what I wanted to hear from my him.
Then afterwards he just asked about a few other things like my car and mentioned that he wanted to see me more often. I honestly think it’s one of his best moments as my father. Best parent.
And just then a coworker asked about my hair and for the first time it wasn’t about how it looked aesthetically. She mentioned how surprised she was since it was so subdued as it’s faded a lot in the last four weeks and how she’s amazed that I can still surprise her like that (I’ve known her for a couple of years now). She did think the original colour (I showed her my less faded roots) was a lot more ‘me’ due to its brightness.

Someone bring me chocolate. I will love you forever.
